Pharmsavi was born as Saviour Ikin Akpan on the 10th of July 1996 to the family of Mr. and Mrs Akpan.
He hails from the South-South region of Nigeria. He is an indigene of Akwa Ibom State and traces his ancestral home to Onna Local Government Area. He spent his childhood and teenage years residing in Lagos.
Pharmsavi underwent his elementary and high school education at top private-owned schools in Lagos.
He bagged a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy after five years of study at a prestigious university in Nigeria.
Career
Pharmsavi‘s childhood dream was to become a pharmacist. He achieved his dream by studying at the university. Upon completing his university education, he observed his NYSC program in Akwa Ibom, his home state.
He worked in Akwa Ibom state for one year at his assigned Place Of Primary Assignment (PPA), building his work experience.
After completing his service corps, he returned to Lagos State, where he gained employment with a reputable pharmaceutical company. Over the years, he has worked hard at his job and has received promotions to elevate his career.
Although Pharmsavi was doing well as a pharmacist, he nursed the ambition of becoming an actor and an entertainer. To achieve this dream, he decided to become a reality TV star.
In May 2022, he auditioned for a spot in the 7th season of Big Brother Naija tagged Level Up Edition. He was among the lucky 24 contestants who were selected to be on the show. Pharmsavi was announced as one of the show’s housemates on the 23rd of July 2022.
